Tejashwi Yadav slams Nitish Kumar, calls him “Chameleon-like character”

Tejashwi Yadav said, “The day Mr. Sushil Modi was rescued by the NDRF team, many in Bihar said that the entire government should have been rescued.”

New Delhi: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday called Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as a “chameleon-like” character. He said that Nitish Kumar’s switching side has resulted in destroying any possibility of him returning to the secular alliance fold in the coming future. Yadav alleged that Nitish Kumar favoured the RSS and BJP to grow in politics and jeopardized secular and socialist politics.

Hitting out at the BJP-JD(U) government’s response to the flood situation in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav said that the entire state has watched the “insensitivity” of the Nitish Kumar government helplessly. He also said that it will reflect on the polling booths during voting. Tejwashwi Yadav said, “Floods, waterlogging, acute encephalitis syndrome deaths, Muzaffarpur shelter home case are not natural calamities but government-created disasters due to corruption.”

He further said that the government inefficiency is responsible for the Bihar flood but it is trying to pin the blame on ‘Nature’s Fury’.

On 21 October By-elections will take place for the Samastipur Lok Sabha seat necessitated by the death of the sitting LJP MP, as also for Daraunda, Nathnagar, Simari Bakhtiarpur, Kishanganj, and Belhar assembly segments with the incumbent JD(U) MLAs and a Congress MLA elected to Parliament.
