Mumbai: After winning Delhi elections with a thumping majority Aam Aadmi leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh hits out at BJP for divisive politics during polls.

Speaking exclusively to the HW news network Singh said, “People accuse us of giving freebies. We say whatever money people save on free travel free electricity and water. That money they put in the market”.

When question about Delhi’s economy, he said, Delhi’s GDP is 8.6% and the national GDP is 4.5%.

Asked about parties’ expansion plans, he said, that the party is yet to take the decision on it “We are more focused on building the party cadre. We had given phone number through which people could join us many are joining AAP through giving missed calls on this number”.

Singh also took a jibe on BJP for communalizing the Delhi polls on Shaheen Bagh issue, he said if political parties get trapped in BJP’s made-up issues, they can’t defeat it. “You can say it was our strategy to not fall in the trap of BJP. Ideologically, whenever there is hate politics we opposed it”.
