Tripura Congress Discussing Alliance With TIPRA And CPI(M) For Elections

The Tripura Congress is presently engaging in talks with major Opposition groups, including TIPRA (Tipraha Indigenous Peoples Regional Alliance) and CPI(M), to forge an alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. However, State Congress president Asish Kumar Saha emphasized that seat adjustments’ ultimate decision rests with the central leadership. Tripura has two Lok Sabha seats, one reserved for tribal communities, both currently held by the ruling BJP.
