UP Police Arrest 5 People Over Posters Of #ByeByeModi In Prayagraj

The accused have been accused of making indecent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Police arrested the accused based on CCTV footage.

UP: Praygraj Police have arrested 5 people for putting up controversial hoardings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the press note issued by the police, on the night of July 8-9, the accused had put up a hoarding of PM Modi on Stanley Road, ahead of Myohal intersection, which read  Bye Bye Modi. Along with this, tension was also tightened about rising inflation and unemployment.

Police have arrested Aniket Kesari, Abhay Kumar Singh, Rajesh Kesarwani, Shiv, and Dharmendra Kumar alias Nanka in this case.

According to the information, the case was registered by Katra Outpost Incharge. Under section 153(B), 505(2) of IPC against unknown people in Colonelganj police station.

According to media reports, the police have claimed that a conspiracy has been hatched from Telangana. Police say that the posters were printed by a leader of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) through phone from the company operator of an event manager and a contract was given for 10 thousand rupees.
