US President Donald Trump bats for peace, asks Iran to withdraw nuclear ambition

US President Donald Trump further said that the US will impose economic sanctions on Iran until it withdraws its nuclear ambition.

Washington| Hours after the Iran launched a dozen ballistic missiles on US military base in Iraq, US President Donald Trump addressed the media. Praising American soldiers he said that they are brave. He said that though there was an attack by Iran, the US suffered minimum damage. “No American or Iraqi lives were lost in the Iran attack,” Trump said.

Pointing towards former Iranian General Qassem Soleimani who died in the US Airstrike at BAghdad Airport on Friday, he said that he was a terrorist and US killed him. “Soleimani should’ve been killed a long ago,” he said.
