“We Don’t Want To See Face of Modi Here”: Mamata Banerjee In Midnapore Rally

Mamata Banerjee said, “Farewell to BJP. We do not want BJP. We do not want to see Modi’s face.”

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, while addressing a rally in East Midnapore on Friday, targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fiercely and even said that she does not want to see the face of PM Narendra Modi. Mamata appealed to the people not to vote for the BJP and to oust the party from the state.

Mamata Banerjee said, “Farewell to BJP. We do not want BJP. We do not want to see Modi’s face. We do not want riots, marauders, Duryodhana and misrule.” Talking about TMC rebels getting tickets in BJP, she said that old party leaders are sitting in the house and shedding tears. Describing the leg injury as an attack on herself, Mamata said, “My opponents first hit me in the head and now injured my leg, but I am also a warrior”.
