West Bengal: BJP MP Arjun Singh’s car vandalized; alleges TMC workers of attack

BJP MP from West Bengal- Arjun Singh had threatened that TMC would be treated in the same manner if such incidents did not stop.

 

Kolkata| BJP MP from West Bengal- Arjun Singh’s car was vandalized this morning. Reportedly, Arjun Singh was inside the car when the attack took place. The BJP has now alleged that the TMC workers have carried out the attack.

The incident occurred at West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas. The BJP MP was visiting workers from Shyamnagar when the TMC workers vandalized his car. Reportedly, headed by Arjun Singh, a group of BJP workers captured and took control of a TMC party office. They also removed the banner with the picture of Mamta Banerjee. This led to a confrontation between the two-party workers. During the scuffle, Arjun Singh’s car was attacked and the glass of his car was also broken.

The same party office was captured by the BJP workers from TMC after winning the Lok Sabha elections. Arjun Singh blamed Mamata Banerjee for this attack. The BJP MP had threatened that TMC would be treated in the same manner if such incidents did not stop.
