West-Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee Warns Minister,Asks Him Not To Speak Against Fellow Party Leaders

“She snubbed the disaster management minister and asked him to keep mum”

West Bengal: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday warned state minister Javed Ahmed Khan during a cabinet meeting and asked him not to open his mouth against fellow party leaders and workers in public, according to a top source in the party.

Intra-party clashes were recently reported in Khan’s Kasba constituency in South Kolkata, in which several houses were ransacked.

“Khan had expressed his views against party workers after the clash, which did not go down well with the TMC supremo. She snubbed the disaster management minister and asked him to keep mum,” the source, present at the meeting, said.

Earlier Last Month, Banerjee had taken a dig at a party worker’s physic.

“The way your belly is growing, you will collapse any day… How can you have such a big Madhya Pradesh?” she said.
