Mumbai| The Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar who is the latest to be trapped in the ED net has put on a brave face. Reacting to the ED case on him, Pawar said that he will not bow down to pressure from Delhi.
He said that he is capable of handling the ED investigation. Pawar also said that he will be campaigning across the state for the next one month, so he will appear in the ED office. “I will completely cooperate with the Enforcement Directorate. I am capable of accepting the ED hospitality, ” Pawar asserted.

Earlier, he had said that the ED action is nothing but a political vendetta against him as his rallies are getting a huge response from the people of Maharashtra. Referring to Chhatrapati Shivaji, he said that the party leaders have taken inspiration from his legacy. “We will not bow down to the Delhi Takht,” Pawar said.
The Enforcement Directorate is cracking down on the opposition leaders allegedly involved in irregularities. Last month, the ED summoned MNS chief Raj Thackeray in a case related to Kohinoor mills. On Tuesday, it registered a case against Sharad Pawar, his nephew Ajit Pawar and 70 others in relation with the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank Scam. ED said it filed a case based on the FIR by Mumbai Police.
