IPL 2022: MI VS SRH – Will The Sun ‘Rise’ Finally?

The only person who fears nothing is one who has nothing to loose. The quote fits perfect for the Mumbai Indians, which didn’t quite have a decent stint this IPL, which will play the Sunrisers Hyderabad, which are only left with a numerical arithmetic hope for qualification at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai starting at 7:30, streaming live at Star sports network and Disney Hotstar.

After a 5 wicket victory against Ms Dhoni-led CSK, the MI, which are playing their second last game of the season, would surely wish to end their campaign on a winning note.

Qualification chances? The orange army, which have now lost 5 matches on the trot, are thirsty to taste success. Although, a playoff entry is only possible if SRH wins both their remaining games (MI,PBKS) and wish DC,RCB and KKR lose their respective games.

Speaking of the previous performances, the Mumbai Indians have just one extra game compared to its counterpart . Out of 17 games, Mumbai have won 9 and it’s counterpart the rest.

Probable Playing XI:

Mumbai Indians Probable Playing XI: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Ishan Kishan (WK), Tilak Verma, Tim David, Hrithik Shokeen, Ramandeep Singh, Daniel Sams, Murugan Ashwin, Riley Meredith, Jasprit Bumrah, Kumar Kartikeya.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Probable Playing XI: Abhishek Sharma, Kane Williamson (C), Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Shashank Singh, J Suchith, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Marco Jansen, Umran Malik, T Natarajan.

Who stands where: The 5 times champions are still at the bottom of the table with just half a dozen points, whereas the orange army stands at 8th with 10 points.
