US: Trump Administration Starts Deporting Illegal Indian Migrants To India

The US has started to deport the illegal migrants, according to a report by Reuters. Aircraft C-17 has departed to India with the illegal migrants on it, but the migrants will not be arriving for at least 24 hours, the report quoted an official as saying. The Aircraft C-17 is carrying up to 130 people illegal migrants.

According to a Bloomberg report, the government of India agreed to take back all the illegal citizens living in the states. There are 18,000 illegal immigrants  identified by the two countries.

A spokesperson for the US embassy said, “The United States is vigorously enforcing its border, tightening immigration laws, and removing illegal migrants. These actions send a clear message: Illegal migration is not worth the risk.”

The Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested four Bangladeshi cattle smugglers in a successful operation held with the help of both India-Bangladesh border on Monday in West Bengal’s Malda.

The smugglers took advantage of the unfenced section of the border and ran towards the nearby village of Adampur and tried to hide in the bushes.

A BSF soldier outpost in Itaghati spotted a suspicious person trying to cross the border from Bangladesh to India in the dark. The soldiers alerted their fellow soldiers and the patrol party.

The locals in the village joined the forces as soon as they learned about the presence of smugglers, and with their help, the smuggler was arrested.

During the interrogation, the smugglers confessed that they were trying to enter India for cattle smuggling. They said they would receive Rs 40,000 for every two cattle smuggled from India to Bangladesh.
