Headlines:Serum Institute of India’s Covishield Priced At ₹400 For State Govt, ₹600 For Pvt Hospital

“Days ahead of a new round of vaccinations from May 1 that will include all above 18, the Serum Institute of India (SII) today announced that covishield will be sold at Rs 400 a shot to states and Rs 600 to private hospitals. The centre will continue to receive Covishield doses at Rs 150 each, which means it will be cheapest to get a vaccine shot from central government hospitals or establishments. Its vaccines will still be more affordable than foreign jabs, which are priced from Rs 750 to Rs 1,500 a shot, Serum said.
