It has been more than a month now that India is under lockdown to curb the spread of Coronavirus. Economic activities have been halted, manufacturing and most of the industries are now at a standstill. The migrant’s workers and Daily wage labourers who come to Big cities from remote areas of India, The poor people are the ones who are suffering the most due to the lockdown. Most of them have lost their jobs, they have no money with them. A survey by Stranded Workers Action Network reveals some staggering statistics in this regard.
