Ayodhya seer offers Rs 10 crore for beheading Udhayanidhi Stalin

Days after Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s controversial remarks about ‘Sanatan Dharma,’ an Ayodhya seer named Paramhans Acharya has offered a reward of Rs 10 crore for the beheading of the DMK leader. Udhayanidhi, the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, accused ‘Sanatan Dharma’ of promoting inequality and social injustice, advocating for its eradication. He likened ‘Sanatan Dharma’ to diseases like coronavirus, malaria, and dengue fever, asserting that it should not merely be opposed but completely eliminated. In a report by India TV, Udhayanidhi reiterated his stance, stating, “”Two days ago, I spoke at an event about ‘Sanatana Dharma.’ Whatever I said, I will say it repeatedly. I addressed all religions, not just Hinduism, and criticized caste-based distinctions. “”I am saying again that I only criticised Sanatana Dharma and that Sanatana Dharma should be eradicated. I will say this continuously. Few are being childish saying I invited for genocide while others are saying that Dravidam should be abolished. Does that mean DMKians should be killed? Furthermore, he pointed out, When PM Modi says ‘Congress Mukth Bharat’, does that mean congressmen should be killed? What is Sanatana? Sanatana means nothing should be changed and all are permanent. But the Dravida model calls for change and all should be equal. BJP twisting my statement and spreading fake news, it’s their usual job,”” Udhayanidhi further said. According to a report by India Today, Ayodhya seer Paramhans Acharya on Monday announced a reward of Rs 10 crore for beheading DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin over his alleged remarks against ‘Sanatan Dharma’. He said and i am quoting, “”I will pay Rs 10 crore cash reward to anyone who beheads Stalin and brings his head to me. If no one dares to kill Stalin, I will myself find him and kill him,”” Paramhans Acharya, the chief priest of the Tapaswi Chawni temple of Ayodhya. In a video released earlier that day, the seer held a poster of Udhayanidhi in one hand and a sword in the other, symbolically enacting the beheading of the DMK minister while setting the poster on fire. This is not the first time the priest has made such announcements. In the past, he made similar offers concerning Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya’s comments on Ramcharitmanas and over Shahrukh Khan for showing saffron attire in his blockbuster movie Pathaan. “”Sanatan Dharma neither has a beginning nor an end. It has never been destroyed and can never be destroyed,”” he said, warning that anyone trying to destroy Sanatan Dharma will be destroyed. Responding to the video, Udhayanidhi said, “”Today a swamy (seer) announced a Rs 10 crore bounty for my head. He said whoever beheads Udayanidhi will get Rs 10 crore. Is he a real saint or a duplicate one? Why do you like my head so much? From where are you getting so much money? Why are you announcing Rs 10 crore to comb my hair? I will do it on my own if you give me a Rs 10 comb.”” He also drew a parallel, stating, “”A similar situation occurred with Karunanidhi when a saint previously offered a reward of one crore rupees for his beheading. Karunanidhi responded by saying that even if someone offered 100 crores, he couldn’t even comb his hair. I follow in the footsteps of Karunanidhi and Ambedkar, along with Periyar, Anbazhagan, and our leader (Stalin), who has persistently worked to eradicate ‘Sanatan Dharma.’ The DMK will continue this struggle.”” Udhayanidhi’s remarks at the ‘Sanatana Abolition Conference’ have sparked widespread outrage nationwide, with many leaders and individuals strongly criticizing him and calling for an apology from the INDIA bloc, as the DMK is a member of the INDIA alliance.
