Board Exams: What Do Students-Teachers Say About ICSE Decision On Board Exams???

*Update: As per the latest ICSE Council decision late on Monday evening, the class 10 board examinations have been cancelled. As the demand for a cancellation of board exams grew, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decided last week to cancel the board exams for standard 10 students and postpone it for standard 12. A notification from CBSE read “The situation will be reviewed on 1st June 2021 (for standard 12th), and details will be shared subsequently”. (can show the CBSE notification while reading) A few days later other state boards followed suit and decided to either cancel the exam or postpone it. The ICSE board, however, in it’s press release has postponed exams for Standard XII but given an option to Standard 10 students. Are students happy with this decision? What do the teachers think? To know the answers, we spoke to some students and teachers.
