“Contempt Case Against State/Police If Action Taken Against SOS Calls On Social Media”: SC

“Today, the Supreme Court continued to hear its suo motu plea on Covid-19 management in India and it had some series of observation. Although the court deliberated on several different aspects of Covid-19 management, we are going to talk about Two highlight instances. One, Supreme Court order on People using social media to call for help during pandemic and Second, is Supreme Court’s observation regarding vaccination drive in the country. But before that, let me tell you what’s the covid 19 situation in the country today. In the past 24 hours, India recorded more than over 3.86 lakh cases and More than 3000 deaths. This is yet another high, in terms of cases. The Suo Motu case was heard by the Bench of Justices DY Chandrachud, Justice S Ravindra Bhatt and Justice L Nageshwara Rao.
