Parliament is likely to witness stormy scenes today, March 16, as Congress scion Rahul Gandhi is all set to make an appearance today after his UK tour. The second half of the Budget session has so far turned out to be washout, after proceedings were disrupted for the third straight day by members of the ruling BJP and opposition parties. The Opposition is intent on cornering the government over the Adani-Hindenburg row and is pressing for a joint parliamentary committee probe into the matter. On the other hand, the Centre continues to insist on an apology from Rahul Gandhi for remarks he made about the state of democracy in India while in the UK. After his return to India from the UK, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will attend the ongoing Budget session of Parliament today. Sources said he is likely to talk to the media about the controversy over his speech made in London.
