Hijab Ban Split Verdict: What Did Justice Dhulia Say While Pronouncing Order In Favour of Petitioners?

After 10 days of hearing and reserving the judgement on September 22nd, the Supreme Court today gave out a split verdict in the Hijab Ban case. The bench of Justices Hemant Gupta and Sudhanshu Dhulia had a divergent opinion on the case. While Justice Hemant Gupta upheld the ban on Hijab, Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia set aside the Karnataka High Court order upholding the Hijab ban. The matter has now been placed before the Chief Justice of India. He will decide whether it should go to the Three judge constitution bench.
