Karnataka High Court Grants Bail To Gauri Lankesh’s Murder Accused

The Karnataka High Court has granted bail to Mohan Nayak, the first accused in the 2017 murder case of activist-journalist Gauri Lankesh. The decision was made by Justice S Vishwajith Shetty, requiring Nayak to provide a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh with two sureties of the same amount and attend all trial court hearings unless exempted for valid reasons.
