Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that while the lockdown may have ended, the coronavirus still lingers on, urging people to maintain caution as the festive season kicks in. “In this festive season, markets are bright again but we need to remember that the lockdown might have ended but COVID-19 still persists. With efforts of every Indian over last 7-8 months, India is in a stable situation we must not let it deteriorate,” he said.
“Festivals are a time for joy and celebration we are coming out of a tough time and carelessness could render our fight useless,” the prime minister says.
