Madhya Pradesh: Principal Assaulted Amid Witchcraft Accusations

An inquiry is underway after the principal of a government college in Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh, claimed that he was assaulted by four individuals who falsely accused him of practicing witchcraft. A case has been filed under the Indian Penal Code and the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
