Navjot Singh Sidhu Repeats “Empty Chairs” Jibe; Says Capt. Amarinder Singh “Parrot” of Central Govt

“As the controversy over PM Modi’s Security breach continues, the BJP and Congress have been engaged in a war of words. On the other hand, the issue has also resulted in legal issue between State of Punjab and the Union Govt of India. While the BJP blames Congress ruled state for breach in PM Modi’s security, Congress says the responsibility of PM’s security is on SPG. Yesterday, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel even called it a drama by Prime Minister.

Now, Punjab pradesh Congress Committee chief Navjot Singh Sidhu repeated Congress’ allegation that PM Modi went back because of empty chairs at the rally and not because of security breach.

He said “”How can PM address 7,000 chairs in which 500 people are sitting in a rally.”” He also said that “”All the real issues of the state, be it farmers or unemployment have been put to the backburner.””
