News Report: Why Ashok Lavasa opted out of Election Commission meetings?

the cracks in Election Commission are appearing from within. A top election commissioner Ashok Lavasa has made it clear that he will not be attending the poll panel meetings. The reason, the difference of opinion over the clean chits handed out to PM Modi and Amit Shah, which was the original complaint of the opposition parties. Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa has recused himself from attending meetings of the Election Commission on deciding violations of the Model Code. He says the minority decisions are going unrecorded. What does it mean? It means that the decisions or dissent expressed by a small number of people on the poll panel are not being made public. #AshokLavasa #ElectionCommission #PMModi
