The state govts are worried about economy going downwards and thus some of them have come out with an idea. An idea to suspend or weaken the major labour laws and suspend workers’ rights at the job for next three years.
Madhya Pradesh govt his working on the proposition whereas the Yogi Adityanath government has given a green signal to the ordinance exempting businesses from the purview of almost all labour laws for the next three years. The ordinance will become law only after it receives the presidentās assent. The decision was taken in a state cabinet meeting which was chaired by CM Yogi Adityanath. In the meeting it was noted that economic activities in the state are down. However, both Left parties and the RSS affiliated Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh are opposing the change in labour laws. #LabourLaws #YogiAdityanath #RSS
