“The Telangana Rashtra Samithi or the TRS is getting itself into election mode, while the BJP finds itself very poorly placed in the state. Telangana is one of the many states that go to elections in 2023, just before the grand finale of 2024.
The problems with BJP any many-fold. Their state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar is a political lightweight, non-entity and a novice in party politics. An equivalent of BS Yeddyurappa in Telangana is missing. That in itself speaks of the party’s poll readiness.
Telangana has 119 assembly seats. Amit Shah has declared MISSION 70 as the party’s target for the 2023 elections. BJP’s targets have been missed by miles several times. The leadership is unsure and jittery even at campaign stage.
To try and boost the BJPs image, Prime Minster Modi flew in to Hyderabad, directly from Japan, to be the guest of honor for the Annual Convocation of the Indian School of Business. The state government showed that he is most unwelcome, so much so the Chief Minister skipped the event.
Modi being what is best known for, attacked KCR for ‘parivaarwad’ and being superstitious. He further said that two people have throttled the aspirations of the people of Telangana. As usual, his comments were irrelevant, repetitive and down right boring. He was addressing a huge crowd of about a hundred ‘party workers’ at the old Begumpet airport.
Telangana has been run excellently by the TRS government as you will see by the data I provide. It appears BJP will have to wait many more years to get into power in the state of Telangana.
Thank you for watching.
