Watch Mr. Sujit Nair as he provides an update on the ongoing wrestlers’ protest. Former WFI Chief and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing sexual harassment allegations from top Indian women wrestlers, has been summoned by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court after the chargesheet was taken into consideration. The court has scheduled the matter for July 18 at 2:30 pm. Previously, the Delhi Police had filed a 1,500-page chargesheet against Singh, accusing him of sexual harassment, assault, and stalking of six women wrestlers. The chargesheet includes statements from at least 22 witnesses across four states. The court has also summoned Vinod Tomar in relation to the case. The early date for the court appearance has been chosen because both the accused individuals are currently in Delhi.”
