Seven people, including five women and a child, died from diarrhoea and water-borne diseases in Mandla district, Madhya Pradesh, over the past ten days. District Epidemic Control Officer Dr Yatindra Jharia reported that about 150 people in Devraha Bahmani and Madhopur villages have fallen ill due to contaminated food and water.
