Pakistan violating ceasefire since abrogation of Article 370

Srinagar| Since India abrogated Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, neighbouring Pakistan has been raking up the issue on international platforms. Pakistan army which called the Kashmir issue a “Nuclear flashpoint” between the two countries has now resorted to violation of ceasefire along the line of control. Reports of heavy firing from Pakistan in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district are coming in. On Sunday, it again violated the ceasefire targetting the Indian forward posts along LoC.

On Sunday evening, Pakistan violated ceasefire again at about 6:45 pm. However, the Indian side too retaliated aggressively leading to the destruction of Pakistani posts and casualties. The army suspects that ceasefire violation is being done by Pakistan to infiltrate the terrorists.

According to the reports, since the abrogation of Article 370, Pakistan has been violating ceasefire along LoC. Earlier on August 17, Pakistan had violated a ceasefire in the Nowshera sector killing an Indian soldier. The Border Security Force has also been put on high alert.
