Eight-month-old Aroohi Dheri and her parents – 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur and 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh – were kidnapped from a trucking company. The trucking company was located in Merced County in Northern California. According to Merced Country Police, the baby’s uncle, 39-year-old Amandeep Singh, was kidnapped.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Sherrif Warnke said, “There are no words to describe the anger I feel.”
“Their families have been informed and arrangements of taking them are being made,” police said.
“We don’t know all the facts yet, we will be processing further,” says officials.
The moment the family was abducted is captured on video that was made public by the police on Wednesday. In the footage, Jasdeep and Amandeep can be seen leaving the store with their hands bound. A short while later, the baby’s mother and the kidnapper can be seen exiting the building. The family’s four members were then escorted into a truck and driven away from the scene.
