India Gets Two More Vaccines For Covid – Covovax And Corbevax, 1 Anti-Viral Drug Molnupiravir

New Delhi: The Centre has given permission to two new vaccines and one anti-viral drug to boost the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Only in case of emergency the two vaccines, Corbevax and Covovax, and the anti-viral drug Molnupiravir can be used. 

The announcement of the approval was made by Health Minister Mansukh Mandivya.

Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted this morning, “Congratulations India Flag of India Further strengthening the fight against COVID-19, CDSCO, @MoHFW_INDIA has given 3 approvals in a single day for:

– CORBEVAX vaccine

– COVOVAX vaccine

– Anti-viral drug Molnupiravir

For restricted use in emergency situation.”

The approvals will give a major boost to India’s massive vaccination drive against coronavirus.
