On January 12, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final result of the 2023 Combined Geo-Scientist exam. Candidates can check their results on upsc.gov.in. The selection of 258 candidates was based on scores from the preliminary and main exams and a personality test. Selected candidates will be appointed to central government organizations like the Geological Survey of India and the Central Ground Water Board. The marks of candidates will be available on the website within fifteen days of the result publication, as stated in the official press release.
