This cash that consists of 2000 and 500 Rs notes is worth ₹ 20 crore. And this cash has been found at the residence of West Bengal Minister Partha chatterjee’s close aide Arpita Mukherjee. This money, this cash was recovered after the enforcement directorate raid at her residence. The raid was conducted as a part of the probe into SSC recruitment scam in the state. It was on Friday that the ED had recovered this cash. Arpita Mukherjee has now been detained whereas Partha Chatterjee has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate. ED officials themselves found this cash to be huge to count it themselves and had to take assistance from bank officials and their cash counting machines.
