Rahul Gandhi said, “They bow their heads in front of you, but work for someone else. Demonetisation happened, who benefited from it?”
Patna| Former Congress president and party’s star campaigner Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Modi fiercely in his first meeting in Hisua, Nawada in Bihar. He said, “How did you feel about Modi ji’s speech. Narendra Modi ji said that he bows to the soldiers of Bihar who were martyred. But the question is another. When the young soldiers of Bihar were martyred, what did the Prime Minister say and what did he do on the very same day.”
Rahul Gandhi said, “They bow their heads in front of you, but work for someone else. Demonetisation happened, who benefited from it? You put the money in the bank, where did it go? Your money went into the pocket of the richest people of the country. Were Adani-Ambani seen standing in front of the bank?”
Highlights of Rahul’s speech:
“I have gone to Ladakh, there is a border of India. There, the youth of UP-Bihar and other states protect the country by giving their blood and sweat. The temperature in minus. It takes 10 days of walking to reach the post. The question is that China killed our soldiers, took 1200 km of land, so why did the Prime Minister say that no Chinese soldiers entered our country.”
“Modi ji, when will you take out the soldiers of China who have entered inside our country. Do not lie to Biharis by coming here. Tell when will you give employment to them. Last time, you said that 2 crores jobs will be given.”
“Modi ji enacted three laws to attack farmers. Finishing the market, ending the MSP, they are going to do it all over the country. They lie. Whatever Narendra Modi wants from the airport, railway line, Narendra Modi takes it for him. When Corona happened, Modi ji said that the fight will be won in 22 days.”
“He drove out the migrant labourers of Bihar from all the territories including Delhi. Did they help any labourers? They say that they bow their head in front of the worker. You walked thousands of km hungry and thirsty, did Modi give you a train? Modi said, go hungry and thirsty, I don’t mind. I am confident that this time Bihar is going to recognize the truth, is going to answer Modi-Nitish.”
Rahul Gandhi held a meeting in favour of Congress candidate Neetu Kumari in Hisua. Here Anil Singh from BJP is in the fray. RJD’s Prakash Vir from Nawada’s Rajauli (Su) and Kanhaiya Kumar from BJP are fighting.
