80% of India’s Coronavirus Cases Are Asymptomatic: ICMR

The ICMR said that 80% of India’s Coronavirus cases are asymptomatic. This means that most of the cases do not show symptoms.

 

New Delhi| The Union Home Ministry said on Monday that it had written a letter to some state governments to strictly adhere to the guidelines. “We have written to all the state governments that they can tighten the rules in view of the Corona crisis,” said Health Ministry official Punya Salila Srivastas, who was present at the briefing on behalf of the Home Ministry.

Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra, Kolkata and North 24 Parganas in Bengal the situation is serious. However, the doubling rate of Coronavirus cases has decreased from 3.7 days to 7.4 days in the last seven days. The situation is severe in Pune-Mumbai in Indore, Maharashtra in Madhya Pradesh.

Luv Agarwal, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health present at the briefing, said, “In the past 24 hours, more than 2400 people became healthy. 36 have died. Dubbing rate of cases that was 3.7 before lockdown. It has increased to 7.4 in the past 7 days. This has improved in many states, including Odisha and Kerala. We are fighting infectious disease. One mistake will turn the water around on hard work. ”

The ICMR said that 80% of India’s Coronavirus cases are asymptomatic. This means that most of the cases do not show symptoms.
