“Forcibly Removed Atishi’s Belongings…”: Delhi CMO

The Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has been evicted from her official residence two days after she moved there.

The CMO claimed Lt Governor Vinai Saxena “forcibly removed” Atishi’s belongings from the official home “at the behest of the BJP.”

“For the first time in the history of the country, the Chief Minister has been asked to vacate her house. The L-G has forcibly removed CM Atishi’s belongings at the behest of BJP. Preparations are underway on behalf of the L-G to allot CM residence to a big BJP leader. BJP, which has been in exile in Delhi for 27 years, now wants to capture the CM’s residence, The CMO alleged.

Former CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal stayed in the house until last week and vacated it around three weeks after he resigned from his post.

The office of the Lt Governor is yet to react to the claims of the Delhi Chief Minister’s Office.
