Eleven people died and over 30 are missing after a bridge collapsed in Shaanxi province, northern China, due to flash floods from heavy rain on Saturday, AP reported. The collapse in Shangluo swept people and vehicles into the swollen river below. The public relations department cited a sudden downpour and flash floods as the cause. The death toll may rise, with 11 victims found in five vehicles pulled from the water.
