Hours After USโ€™ โ€œFinal Warningโ€, Houthis Attack Ships in Red Sea

A weaponized Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) deployed from Houthi-controlled Yemen approached U.S. Navy and commercial vessels in the Red Sea, exploding within proximity. This followed warnings from the White House and other nations to the Iran-backed group, urging cessation of attacks or anticipating military consequences. Although the Houthis previously utilized such vessels in harassing commercial ships, this marks the first instance amid recent warnings.
