India Hosts UNESCO: Set To Donate $1m

At the 46th Session of the World Heritage Committee, PM Narendra Modi announced India’s contribution of 1 million dollars to the UNESCO World Heritage Center. Modi stated, “Earth is our mother and we are her children”. “Heritage is not just history, but a shared consciousness”, said Modi, aiming to integrate heritage with development as part of his “Vikas Bhi, Virasit Bhi” vision.
