Kejriwal To Be Granted Interim Bail: SC

The Supreme Court has announced today that Arvind Kejriwal, currently behind bars after being arrested by the CBI under the excise policy case, shall be granted interim bail. During the hearing, the court also ruled that it cannot direct an elected representative to step down and that the decision must be taken by the individual themselves.
