A Naxalite holding the ‘deputy commander’ rank, accused of four murders, including three security personnel, was killed in an encounter on Tuesday in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Ratan Kashyap, alias Salam, aged 31, with a bounty of Rs 5.1 lakh, was shot in the Mangnar forest, approximately 35 km from Dantewada’s district headquarters.
