North Korea Tests ‘Underwater Nuclear Weapons System’

North Korea announced the testing of its “underwater nuclear weapons system” in retaliation to joint drills conducted by the US, South Korea, and Japan. According to state media, the test, which purportedly involved nuclear-armed underwater drones, took place off the east coast. The authenticity of North Korea’s “Haeil-5-23” system remains unconfirmed, and there has been no immediate response from South Korea and its allies to this latest provocation.

The facilitation of globally recognized practices about promoting circular economy practices like waste-to-energy solutions and efficient waste management will also be one of the gifts to the MMR as a result of this collaboration. The development of Blue & Green infrastructure across the MMR to enforce the improvement of air quality and rainwater absorption will be achieved through this collaboration. Hence, MMRDA’s vision of transforming the MMR into a sustainable metropolis will be catalyzed by this collaboration, bestowing the region and its 30 million residents with substantial economic growth and enhanced quality of life.
