South Korea Bans Dog Meat Trade

South Korea has enacted a law aiming to eliminate the slaughter and trade of dogs for meat by 2027, putting an end to the centuries-old practice. The law prohibits raising or slaughtering dogs for consumption and the distribution and sale of dog meat. Violators may face imprisonment, with those butchering dogs potentially serving up to three years.

Car-Truck Collision Kills Two Delhi Police Personnel

Late last night, two Delhi Police officers lost their lives in a collision with a truck near the Kundali border in Sonipat. Inspector Dinesh Beniwal from the North West District Special Staff and ATO Inspector Ranveer from Adarsh Nagar police station were travelling together when their vehicle collided with a truck around 11 pm. Trapped inside, both officers succumbed to the accident, and their car was extensively damaged.
