In a historic initiative, Horner Middle School and Irvington High School are set to introduce Hindi as a world language through a pilot program. With Indian Americans making up 65% of the student population in these schools, the decision aligns with the diverse demographics of Fremont, known for one of California’s highest concentrations of Indian Americans across its 29 elementary, five middle, and five high school campuses.
