In its May 8 order, which was made available on Monday, the Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, dismissed a review plea against its January 3 ruling on the Adani-Hindenburg case. The court stated, “No error apparent on the face of the record.” It upheld that SEBI had “conducted a comprehensive investigation” into allegations of market manipulation by Hindenburg Research against the Adani Group.
