Howdy Modi| “Abki Baar Trump Sarkar” says PM Modi campaigning for Donald Trump

Prime Minister Modi in his address not only praised US President Donald Trump but also campaigned for him using his 2014 Prime Ministerial slogan.

 

Houston| Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump addressed the ‘Howdy Modi‘ event. The mega event hosted by the Indian community in America saw the two leader of world’s superpowers coming together on one stage. But the event remained in news for many reasons. For instance, this event is also being linked to next year’s elections in America. Because, Prime Minister Modi in his address not only praised US President Donald Trump but also campaigned for him using his 2014 Prime Ministerial slogan.

PM Modi addressing the crowd said, “Abki Bar, Trump Sarkar” among the crowd of more than 50 thousand people present for the event.

Praising President Trump, Modi said, “He (Trump) is not interested in any introduction because his name is known to every person on earth.” He said, “I admire his leadership, his desire for America. I admire President Trump for his concern for the American. When I first met him, Trump told me that India is a true friend in the White House. ”

Welcoming Trump to the stage at Houston’s NRG Stadium, PM Modi said, “We have had some meetings before and every time he meets in a warm, friendly, energetic way and has easy access. I also admire his leadership and his desire for America. ” Modi said, “The people of India have been able to associate themselves well with President Trump.”

During Modi’s speech, Trump was sitting among the audience. When the speeches were over, Trump also stood up and applauded the Prime Minister. A security guard tried to show PM Modi the direction to exit but ignoring his instructions, PM Modi moved towards President Trump. He shook both hands with the Trump and with both hands Trump also held the hand of PM Modi, signalling mutual trust. PM Modi and Trump were seen interacting with American MPs here. Then the two leaders strolled around the stadium.

There is an election in America next year. It is believed that Indians are closer to the Republican Party of America, in such a situation, Trump has left no stone unturned to woo the Indian community. The American Indian community is the fastest growing community in the United States, which participates intently in elections.
