If meet the conditions of Taliban, US troops to withdraw from Afghanistan

After 18 years, Doha accord would witnessed thousands of American troops quit Afghanistan

Kabul| The United States and its allies have decided to withdraw all their forces from Afghanistan if the Taliban meet with the conditions. On Saturday in Doha, the peace agreement is set to sign between the US and Taliban.

Within 14 months the US will withdraw all their forces if Taliban abide by the agreement Washington and Kabul said in a joint statement.

The declaration states, “will complete the withdrawal of their remaining forces from Afghanistan within 14 months and will withdraw all their forces from remaining bases”. After an initial reduction of troops to 8,600 within 135 days ahead of Saturday’s signing.

The Doha accord would witnessed thousands of American troops quit Afghanistan in a phased plan after more than 18 years in return for various security commitments from the insurgents and a pledge to hold talks with the government in Kabul.
