New York| A day after joining PM Modi on the stage of ‘Howdy Modi’ event in Houston, US President Donald Trump has made a shocking comment about PM Modi’s speech. Trump called PM Modi’s statement “Aggressive” and said he didn’t expect to hear it from PM Modi.
On Sunday, PM Modi attended the ‘Howdy Modi’ event in Hoston organized by the Indian Community in the United States. During his speech, PM Modi without naming Pakistan took a sly dig at the country. He said that everyone knows where the conspirators of 9/11 and 26/11 are residing. Even Trump also said that Radical Islamic Terrorism is a great threat.

However, on Sunday, he seems to have taken a U-turn on his statements. He said that both the countries are fighting, they have been warring. Trump further said, “I heard very aggressive statement yesterday. I was there. I did not know I was going to hear that statement. I was sitting there and I heard a very aggressive statement from India, from the Prime Minister and I have to say the statement was well received by the 50000 people.” He further expressed hope that both countries will come together and find a solution to the issue.
Trump rakes up mediation offer the third time:
US President Donald Trump said on Monday once again reiterated that he can mediate between Pakistan and India on the Kashmir issue if both the countries agree to it. Earlier, when he had made the offer, India had categorically refused it citing that it is a bilateral issue between the two countries and mediation was not required.

Trump said, “If both (India and Pakistan) want, then I am ready to do (mediation). I have a very good relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I also have a very good relationship with Prime Minister Imran Khan .. At any time, I will be a very good moderator. I have never failed as a mediator.”

Donald Trump was also asked by a journalist whether he endorses a statement made by PM Modi in which he took a sly dig at Pakistan calling it a nation harbouring terrorism. However, Trump said that he was not talking about Pakistan but was talking about Iran.
