Maharashtra Assembly Election Results 2024

After months of campaigning, the final moment has arrived: the Maharashtra Assembly Election results will be declared today, November 23. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has started counting postal ballots at 8 a.m. Early trends in the MVA vs. Mahayuti fight in the Maharashtra Election Results 2024 have started coming in.

In Maharashtra Shiv Sena is divided into Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde factions making it Shiv Sena (UBT) and Shiv Sena. On the other hand, NCP is divided into Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar factions making it NCP (SCP) and NCP.

The majority mark in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly is 145.

In the 2019 elections, BJP won 105 seats, undivided Shiv Sena 56, undivided NCP 54, Congress 44, independents 13 and others 16 seats.

    According to the latest developments, the BJP has secured an impressive 85% success rate, with 125 out of its 148 candidates leading. The Mahayuti is leading with 218 seats as of 11:30 AM.

     

     

    The Shiv Sena (UBT) follows closely with a strong 73% strike rate, with 58 of its 80 candidates on track for victory. Meanwhile, the NCP stands strong with an 80% success rate, as 42 of its 53 candidates are leading.

    In ThaneKopri-Pachpakhadi assembly constituency, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is leading in the legacy war against Shiv Sena (UBT)โ€™s Kedar Dighe by a margin of 4.053 votes, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI).

     

     

    Shinde is locked in a massive Sena vs Sena battle against Shiv Sena (UBT)โ€™s candidate Kedar Dighe. Kedar Dighe is the nephew of Shindeโ€™s political guru and Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe.

    NCP(SP) candidate Yugendra Pawar trailed behind his uncle and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in Baramati.

    The contest is very crucial for Ajit Pawar, who split the Sharad Pawar-led NCP last year and allied with the ruling BJP-Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) coalition.

    Ajit Pawarโ€™s wife Sunetra Pawar lost to his cousin Supriya Sule in the Baramati Lok Sabha seat earlier this year. Baramati has been a stronghold of the Pawar family.

    This comes even as the BJP-led Mahayuti raced past the halfway mark, securing leads in 153 seats, as of 9.24 am. The Maha Vikas Aghadi, meanwhile, leads in 86 constituencies, while other leads in nine seats.
