New Delhi | Days after expressing unhappiness against the Congress party after its Uttar Pradesh unit revoked the suspension of leaders who misbehaved with her, Congress leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has quit the Congress party, as per sources.
According to sources, Chaturvedi has submitted her resignation to Congress president Rahul Gandhi and may be likely to join the Shiv Sena.” Rumours about Chaturvedi arised after she removed the designation of ‘INC National Spokesperson’ from her twitter bio overnight along with no mention of the Congress party.
Earlier Chaturvedi had expressed her unhappiness against the Congress party wrote,” Deeply saddened that lumpen goons get preference in Congress over those who have given their sweat&blood. Having faced brickbats&abuse across the board for the party but yet those who threatened me within the party getting away with not even a rap on their knuckles is unfortunate.

Chaturvedi quoted a letter which stated that the Uttar Pradesh Congress has decided to grant relief to the leaders who were suspended after Chaturvedi’s complaint. The party further added that the leader have been reinstated following an intervention by Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Congress general secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh West.
