#Elections2019: Maneka Gandhi proposes “ABCD” grading of villages based on votes for BJP

After controversial remarks against Muslim voters warning them to vote for her otherwise she will not do their work, Maneka Gandhi has made another controversial remark. The Union Minister for Women and Child Development while addressing the gathering said that development works will be done in the constituency according to the percentage of votes polled in favour of BJP. The villages that will poll maximum votes for BJP will be a priority for development. Her statement has now caused huge controversy. Maneka Gandhi was addressing a gathering in Pilibhit- her traditional constituency from where her son Varun Gandhi is contesting elections this time. She proposed an idea to grade villages according to the number of votes for her and prioritise development work accordingly. She suggested to segregate all villages as A, B, C, and D for development works. However, her development plan wasn’t based on which village needs more attention but on which village votes more for the BJP. #ManekaGandhi #ABCD #BJP
